i’m glad i made this weight loss tumblr because looking at all of these motivational and inspirational posts has made me love my body a little bit more every time i look in the mirror. I mean sure i would like to be thinner, but i’ve accepted my body a bit more. Plus my dad’s pep talks have helped me. His side of the family is prone to heart disease and obesity. When i talked to him about my struggles with losing weight he said to me “you and I and Greg (my brother) are just big boned. Half of the reason why you’re having trouble with your thighs and legs is because of genes. You will always have muscular legs. And there’s nothing wrong with that” He’s right. There isn’t. I mean i do have a thigh gap for the most part and my a lot of my clothes are loose on me so i’ve learned to love my body.
